BOARDING REGULATIONS

• Most of our kennels are 4 feet wide by 26 feet long and are indoor/outdoor runs.
• All pets are accepted for boarding in accordance with California Civil Code Section 1834.5
• Pets must be in good health. Should a pet become ill or injured, Tyson Kennels will notify the owner as promptly as possible, but reserves the right to place the pet in the care of a licensed veterinarian for treatment. Expenses incurred will be charged to the pet's owner.
• Current proof of vaccinations for rabies, DHLP-P (parvo), and bordetella (kennel cough) are required at the time of registration.
• Boarding fees must be paid in full before your pet is released. Check out time is 12:00pm.  Check out time is waived if your pet is being groomed. Boarding deposits are non-refundable.
• Pets must be clean and free of fleas and ticks. If bathing is required it will be charged to the owner.
• Pet must be over 3 months of age to board. Male cats over 8 months must be neutered.
• Placement of pets in the kennel will be under sole control of the kennel management. The management retains the right to double pets in the same run.

• REGULAR DIETS
  We normally feed our guests once a day. We feed the dogs a canned food mixed with kibble. The cats are either fed kibble and/or canned food.
   
• SPECIAL DIETS
  If you bring your pets own food, each serving needs to be individually bagged and labeled with the pet's name. We recommend using a Zip-Lock type bag.
   
• MEDICATIONS
  We will give your pet their medications, as needed. We will normally put it in their food. If your pet is on a lot of medications, or high risk medications, you may want to board your pet with your veterinarian. However, there is an additional charge of $2.50 per day to administer the medications.
   
• BEDS & TOYS
  We do not accept toys and bones for our guests. This is due to possible health hazards and damage to our drainage systems. We also do not recommend leaving your pets bed. There is always a risk of it being damaged or misplaced. We provide our guests with our own bedding. If you feel it is absolutely necessary to bring your pets bed, please put your pet's name & your last name on it in permanent marker.

• GROOMING & BATHING
  We have a full bathing and grooming facility. Mike Pineda grooms and bathes your pets. Mike sets his own pricing for these special needs. Tyson Kennels is not responsible for grooming, bathing or pricing.
   
• WALKING
  We offer a walking service for your dog. We walk in 15 minute increments a day or every other day. The price is $5.00 for every 15 minutes of walking.
   
• HOLIDAY RATES
  Three days before until three days after a holiday, add $2.00 a day to your boarding fee. The holidays are: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
